Jane feels most alive painting en plein air. She is especially motivated by landscapes, seascapes, and boats. Additionally, she has been touched by the plight of the Honey bee. The bee colony collapse disorder has caught Jane’s attention. And to the delight of her customers, she has been been painting the honey bees in order to honor the work that they do.

Living in Rhode Island, the nearby areas exude a rich abundance of spectacular subject material. The seasons and tides present constant change and new perspectives to contemplate.

The marshlands are particularly intriguing.
